Haredim Arrested For Stoning Arab Cars, Attacking Arabs In Jerusalem

Two haredim, both of them minors, were arrested by police yesterday in Jerusalem on suspicion that they attacked Arab youth and stoned Arab cars.

Two haredim, both of them minors, were arrested by police yesterday in Jerusalem on suspicion that they attacked Arab youth and stoned Arab cars, the Jerusalem Post reported.

No further information has yet been released on the arrests.

Hm... This reminds me of Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings". Didn't he call those evil Middle-Eastern type of enemies fighting alongisde Sauron's orc armies the "Haradrim" and their homeland "Harad"? Not too far from "Haredim" and "Haredi" is it? Coincidence?
