Satmar Rebbe Dares Israel To Arrest Him, Spokesman Says Will Travel To Israel With "American Senators" As Protection

That's right. The Williamsburg Satmar Rebbe Zalman Teitelbaum's spokesman says Teitelbaum isn't afraid of reports that say that Israel will arrest him for tampering with its upcoming election when he lands in the country to distribute hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash to yeshivas who have promised to forbid their students and teachers from voting. In fact, the spokesman said, straining credulity, Teitelbaum will be traveling with "American senators" when he flies to Israel next month, and the American senators will help protect him and will help his mission be completed if he is arrested.

This is so silly on so many levels. First of all how does NOT VOTING affect an election? As they say about winning a lottery, "you got to be in it to win it". I can understand more if he said to force students to go out and vote and vote for candidate "A". Maybe he should have the students go out to vote and vote for a write in candidate called "None of the above", would that be any better?

Exerting power as a voting block is to vote "AS A BLOCK" not to not vote as a block. I am missing something here.
