then again maybe its all innocent. they initially expelled the shul because they were told the holy rabbi drank milk touched by non-jews. but when they found out it was far less serious and only related to accusations of using his rabbinic position to obtain sexual gratification from women who were not his wife, they immediately retracted and let out a huge sigh of relief.

So as far as I understand it, the UOHC position can be understood from the following:-

1) 20 Kislev 5773 - UOHC issues letter stating that an independent Beis Din is to be appointed to throughly examine allegations and that Rabbi Padwa (the head of UOHC) expresses the wish that no further action or declaration be made until that Beis Din issue their psak

2) 22 Kislev 5773 - UOHC issue a letter stating that in the interest of the declaration by local rabbonim condemning Chaim Halpern and to maintain peace, Rabbi Padwa is abandoning his plan to set up an international Beis Din. This letter is a forgery - Sharmya is condemned for falling for this obvious forgery as only a hater would assume that the Hareidi Rabbinate are that confused and Rabbi Padwa’s leadership of the UOHC is so weak that he would change his mind and retract a letter within 2 days of having it issued.

3) 11 Teves 5773 - UOHC issues letter expelling Chaim Halpern’s synagogue notwithstanding that letter dated 20 Kislev stating that no action be taken until the international Beis Din issues its psak.

4) 12 Teves 5773 - One day after issuing the expulsion letter, Rabbi Padwa in this own hand, issues a letter retracting the expulsion letter thereby proving to the world that that the Hareidi Rabbinate are that confused and Rabbi Padwa’s leadership of the UOHC is so weak that he would change his mind and retract a letter within 1 day of having it issued.
