Haredi Rabbi Arrested, Another Investigated, In British Haredi Sex Abuse Scandals
It appears that the long simmering haredi sex abuse scandals in Great Britain – allegedly long simmering primarily because of the active coverups by haredi rabbis – are in process of boiling over.
An arrest was made yesterday near Manchester, England of a haredi rabbi, allegedly on charges related to sexual abuse. The rabbi, thought to be T.G., has long been rumored to have been committing these crimes. Victims didn't go to police, however, in part because other haredi rabbis allegedly protected T.G. and ordered them to be silent.
The Jewish Chronicle briefly reports the arrest:
A member of the strictly Orthodox community was arrested in Salford on Wednesday on suspicion of sexual assault.
The 47-year-old man has been bailed by Greater Manchester Police to return in early December.
And there was another development in the developing London end of the haredi sex abuse scandals in Great Britain, also briefly reported by the JC:
The identity of the arrested individual, his prominent status within Salford's hareidim and the very serious allegations against him are to be found in the comments to Shmarya's post of October 11 'London Haredi Rabbi Rape And Sex Scandal?'

Todros Grynhaus of Manchester, England, UK, a Rebbe in Eitz Chayim School, and runner of Agudah Boys Camp in The UK, has been arrested today for paedophilic activities.
He is the son of Dayan Dovid Grynhaus from Kedassia in London.
His married daughter from out of town, called the police in order to protect her younger siblings.
He is trying to arrange bail, but it is unknown if he will succeed, in the UK they usually stay inside.
Regards,
(‑‑‑)
I was just contacted by a Grynhouse relative and was made aware of these facts:
He was a rebbi at Eitz Chaim and in “Jewish Grammer” over four years ago but is not there anymore.
He is not with Agudah Camp, the camp he was associated with is “Camp Sheves Achim.”
It was not his family member that made the report, rather there were four separate individuals that gave signed affidavits to the police.
The family is in full support of the victims, and are asking for any other victims to please come forward to the police ASAP.

I can report that he has recieved bail and was not in manchester over shabbos but most likely in London with his father the most senior and oldest dayan in the London kedassia who is supporting him and 'cursing' those who speak against him.
Posted by: firth | November 10, 2012 at 12:21 PM
He was with his parents this shabbos in Stamford Hill, London.

Kedassia seems to be a protector of molesters on par with Satmar, Agudah and several other groups.
Rabbi Chaim Halpern's name comes up everywhere with allegations about abuse and with the claim that Kedassia is keeping a lid on the case in spite of strong evidence of abuse of his role as a pastoral counselor specializing in shalom bayis. Apparently the Halpern family is important to Kedassia's penetration of Golder's Green hasgachah business.

Why do people think they need to go to the goyim to sort this out. How sad is it that people could openly masser on him.
We should all come out is support of TG so that this dosent happen again within our kehilla

banana:with the greatest of respect , these issues only get sorted out when the police are involved as generally they are pushed under the carpet as with the situation discussed above , "those in authority" have been aware of what has been going on for years and have done absolutely nothing about it ....in order to stop what has been happening the police need to get involved and ime not referring specifically to this case, if the Rabbonim can get a track record of dealing with these issues correctly then and only then the police will not have to get involved ....

josef ruach from manchester is in trouble his daughter is in st marys hospital because the father molested here and he ran to israel
Posted by: moses | November 11, 2012 at 04:48 AM
And all this has come out from the shmutzigger internet which these same people stage asifim to condemn and to silence! If Kedassia can allow yiddisher kinder to be put at such risk, how can they be trusted to even shomer our milk?????

Anti Corruption: if your right then why is his father the dayan cursing anyone who speejs out against his son?
Posted by: banana | November 11, 2012 at 05:20 AM
banana : Have you yourself heard the Dayan "Curse" people!? or is it just what you may have heard people say ? Pedophilia is a medical condition just like a Heart Condition or Diabetes that needs treatment , unfortunately people don't realize this and dont know how to deal with it so they just try and ignore it , but it does not go away and only gets worse , if its not dealt with it will continue and ruin more & more lives , sometimes if all other avenues have been tried and nothing gets done the police have to get involved to hopefully sort thing out and get the correct people involved not specifically a prison term .... Please see the recording in the name of Rabbi Silver on the right of the page .

Anti Corruption - you say the Rabbonim have know what's been going on for years - can you tell us what has actually been going on as no one seems to know?
Posted by: Clara J | November 11, 2012 at 05:38 AM
So does anyone know what Dayan G has actually said?
If TG was by them for shabbos surely someone must have spoken by now
Posted by: banana | November 11, 2012 at 05:49 AM
The English on here by people from the UK is terrible. I have heard the dayan gave a public drosho on shabos in front of his son without mentioning him, but repeated a well known old story which finished off that a well known previous rabbi cursed anyone who talked 'against' the person in the story.

Like everyone else I want to know what the accusations against TG are?
Is it just another CH type stoy - lots of gossip and no truth?
Posted by: banana | November 11, 2012 at 09:54 AM
banana - sadly, both stories have quite a lot of truth to them.
Posted by: Yankel | November 11, 2012 at 10:14 AM
So why hasn't anyone come forward with stories?
Posted by: banana | November 11, 2012 at 10:37 AM
Yes I agree with banana. Its just another story with no basis. Everyone says I know a victim I know I have heard.
In truth no one knows anything not a single story. Your all just making things up.
Shame on all off you
Posted by: cfb | November 11, 2012 at 11:20 AM
banana and cfb - you are sadly typical of the haredi mindset (BTW, i am haredi) that these things 'do not happen in our cirlces' - the reality is otherwise - obviously, people are not going to post their experiences on blogs, it just shows you know nothing of the mindset of a victim - shame and guilt ,etc, etc
Posted by: Yankel | November 11, 2012 at 11:26 AM
Yankel I haven't said it dosent happen, infact I know it does. We are also human just like the rest of the world.
What I want to know is what has happened to innocent until proven guilty.
With regard to TG no one has said anything, all we know is a man rumored to be him was arrested and then bailed pending further investigation
If ppl could tell what the storys are ppl would begin to belive its a real story and not just a smoke story

Cfb the t.g issue has been brewing for years, inn the schools he taught in years and years ago the rumours were rife bit were brushed under the carpet as always by the higher echelons of our frum community. Three are no rumours about t.g there are hard facts to support his illness.

True or not true, theres no reason for all this sick gossip. thees a family involved here and they have feelings. Leave them alone and if it is true it will be sorted out by the people who have suffered NOT by you lot. Shame on all of you.

If not for FM in a previous blog about the GG rabbi where todros's 'sins' were enumerated by a girl having lived in his house which you all seem to have forgotten or overlooked this would never have come to court. It is no use saying we should sort it out ourselves. Who should do it. His father the dayan. his rabbi the rich horodonke rebbe. This girl said she went to them all. They only 'curse' her instead. It is a very sad state of affairs. The manchester rabbi is over 90 and is really too old. His father left to Israel when he was much younger and gave him the position, and he has no 'deputy'. So the town runs without a rov. There are many other things happening there apart from what is mentioned here. They could compete with s'dom and win!
Posted by: ben | November 12, 2012 at 05:24 AM
Funny how all these allegations only come out after the guy made a bit of money! Where were they the last 30 years? I knew this guy since I was a kid, in my opinion he has been set up big time
Posted by: Castleton Rd | November 12, 2012 at 06:11 AM
ok, a few things.
1) assuming the allegations bear truth, the complainants i.e. victims should be applauded for making that monumental crossover from 'under the carpet' to the open daylight. the decision they have made to come forward can only be imagined as gut wrenching with all the advice, counter advice, threats etc they must have received.
2) No-one here can claim to be the law and certainly no-one here can assume the role of beis din shel ma'aloh.
3) if it is true that arrests have been made, we live in a perfectly democratic country where he will have his opportunity to face or deny the charges made against him. However upsetting the allegations, he is entitled to defend himself as all of us would if we were to be caught speeding, or the like etc.
4) If it is true that victims have come forward, There is no cover-up anymore, its there in the open for everyone to dissect. Yes, there maybe other 'cover-ups' but specifically regarding this one - the cat's out the bag.
5) Surely we owe it to the alleged victims and to the family as a whole, in particular those family members that will unquestionably be affected by this, possibly forever more, to allow the system to take its course and keep away from indulging in nosing into the minute by minute 'updates' and 'need to know' whats going on. One can only imagine how dreadful it is for the victims and their families to know that their alleged personal and painful experiences are now coffee room fodder for the masses.
6) We have to recognise that sometimes in our Kehilla, the only form of defence is prevention. We have to inculcate into our children at the correct times in their lives of the dangers that exist in the world as a whole. We as adults recognise and identify through our own experiences and from what we see around us that sometimes all is not safe in the world. We also have to recognise that our children are growing up in a world that is far different from when we were children in many ways. We have to keep in touch with what society presents and educate our children with chochmah to hold dear that what is dear to us in values and morals.
7) Finally, as with every tragedy, let us hope that this is matter is resolved in the best possible way for all parties involved and let us daven that we are not in a position where we have to revisit this painful subject matter in our community in the future.
8) Lastly, we need to daven that together with the Shutfus that is us and Hashem, He helps us protect our children that they grow to give Him and us the nachas we all crave for.

Do you all claim to be frum jews? What the fuck has this got to do with any of you? Youre all a snotty bunch of bloody nosy parkers and you should stuff yourselves.
Busy busy coming up with reasons and excuses and everything.
Fuck off and get back to work all of you.
Posted by: Annoyed | November 12, 2012 at 09:12 AM
Annoyed-you sure told us. I was almost inclined for a moment to get back to work so stern was your reprimand, however, see point 6 below.
Much as I appreciate the sentiments behind your reprimand, I must take issue with a couple of assumptions you made.
First, I have never, in all my posts claimed to be a frum Jew. I might be a Rebbitzen but that doesn't make me frum as we know from the various "rabbis" we discuss over here that you feel we shouldn't discuss. I would never want to be associated with thems that call themselves frum.
Second, you are assuming that I don't clean my nose and that its bloody. Neither of which are true for me. You can come here and pick it yourself should you wish and you will see.
Third, I've just had 3 bowls of barley soup (made with bones - delicious). I realise by telling you that I risk being called greedy names and the like, but I take that risk to illustrate my point that I can not stuff my self any further. You assume by suggesting that I do, that I can. But I can't.
Fourth, I am unable to find any reasons and excuses for the conduct of others that we learn about here. You assume that I can and I have but I can't.
Fifth, my other half is at work yet you assume that I am able to fuck off freely at the moment. I can't but will be sure to advise when I can.
Sixth, I consider it my role and vocation to learn about and expose the shmutz in the community therefore, this is my work and my calling. I cannot fuck off and get back to work. I am engaged in work right now.
Annoyed, I do appreciate your efforts on our behalf. So thank you for taking the time to reprimand and rebuke.
xxxx
ps that invitation to pick my nose still stands

What has this to do with any of us and what makes you so annoyed.
Manchester is a little place, a park called Broughton park with a few streets built round it. Originally it was Manchester zoo many years go between Northumberland and Broom lane see google. Some animals seem to have escaped at the time and are still roaming free. One davens with these people our kids go to school with them. His father is top dayan in london. Both his wifes grandparents have been at her majesties pleasure. He wants to carry on in their footsteps. Is that not enough reason why people in Manchester and London are concerned. The Stamford Hill blog quoted often here is also scared of the dayan and refuses to print anything about his son.

Until proven guilty, one cannot insult or even comment on the situation unless it's Letoelet. As I beleieve most comments above aren't therefore it is a shame...
All I know is that unfortunately, all the stories of T.G from past students have been atrocious and scary, (proper beatings etc, but never sexual abuse)...
Some to this day still remember the thrashings and acc. to them went off the Derech slightly (or not so slightly) because if it... However, I'm giving dan lechaf zechus and I wont judge. But the instinctively the fact go agaisnt him and if the accusations are true, I send him a Refuah Sheleima and may the Al-might have rachamim on him, since he'll need it... Bezrat hashem they have it all wrong and it was a fabrication
Posted by: On the edge | November 12, 2012 at 02:29 PM
On the edge - i was in his class and neither i nor anyone from our class remember being beaten that badly (proper beatings) never mind sexual abuse... I think people are getting carry away here...

I would like to address all you people out there, that obviously dont feel very accomplished with your lifes and are seemingly trying to give yourselves some feelings of enjoyment and self pride. in addition to being oblivious to the fact that slandering rumers about others is the path to gehinom, hence my full understanding to why you are gossiping about this ridiculously false scandal, it probably makes you feel good. But remember that by putting acid on the wound, it fools you into thinking that you have gotten rid of the wound, but realy until you have applied proper medical surgery the wound will remain. Therefore applying this to you, this is obviously the wrong direction to making yourself happy and content, the real way to changing your misreble life is to working and dealing with your own issues and not making up and spreading rediculess rumers about anouther frum and erlicha person.
P.s. After removing all of your biased imotions and instead using only a clear mind, it should dorn on you the stupidity of this rumer.
For the sake of those of you that are incapable of arriving to this conclusion, you should seek professional help since your life is clearly at stake.
P.s.s. Besides for all that i have written, only a man so selfish and lacking any concern for others would continue to break and torment TG his wife his kids young and old and those of us that truly care for him.

It makes me wonder, what the point of being Jewish is.
So many Rabbis, much like catholic leaders, are turning out to be serial sex abusers. Even worse the Jewish community seem to be protecting them.
I, alongside many others, have completely lost the faith in Charedi jewery. Mordern orthodox, reform, and even secular, are closer to gods 'ideal' Jew, then the charedi movement will ever be.
Of that there is no question.
We should applaud the kids who 'go off' as they are leaving a sick world full of lies.

I like you, too. So I'll have to fight it out with Annoyed. See who wins you. You know, like in the Dark Ages. Which we seem to be in anyhow.
Hey, I'm not married either. So I think I'll be your co-co-habiter. But then, of course, who knows - maybe you are not a Rebbetzin after all, but a Rebbe, trying to attract guys. Or, pervertedly, maybe even gals. You never, never, never know with the In-the-Knower.

A true Jew, besides your spelling being atrocious you are so narrow minded its just laughable.it is a serious issue and one that has been pushed under the carpet for years, don't be so naive to think that his family aren't willing to get this serious issue sorted.

Besides: maybe you aren't a guy but a gal? The borders nowadays are very fuzzy.
And, REBBETZIN: your subtle plays on words get me more and more excited ... "issues at hand" - eh? Such a Rebbetzin (or Rebbe) I must meet in person. Sorry, Annoyed. Only I can fully appreciate her (or him).

The ruach story is 100% true - I know of it myself , sad and shocking...
Being a victim myself, one does not make up stories like this, so think for a minute that if this daughter outed the son of a Dayan, knowing how it could damage the reputation, it must be trues, and based on solid fact.
Wake up people, just because people look frum and deceive people that they act frum, it DOES NOT mean that they are.
I applaud the victims who gave an affidavit, and hope that he gets punished how he should!!!!!!

Posted by: Chaim Shimon | November 13, 2012 at 09:00 AM
Annonymous - Dont convince yourself. Do you know his daughter? Or for that matter his son in law? Maybe make some enquiries before "assuming" that they wouldn't make such a thing up...
Dont be a fool
Posted by: R. Revach | November 13, 2012 at 09:01 AM
R.revach seems your naive to. Very sad. And if you did know the family you would know the relationship all the kids have to their father, no smoke without fire, buddy!

Which Rasha are we talking about? Is it TG, Ruach or CH?
Posted by: The In-the-Knower Rebbetzin | November 13, 2012 at 09:36 AM
Chaim Shimon - I do know the family, there may have been abuse but not to this extent.
To call the authorities in for the kind of abuse there was is uncalled for.
Don't call me naive.
You know one side of the story maybe.
I know the other.
Posted by: R. Revach | November 13, 2012 at 10:25 AM
R.revach, by admitting abuse took place, even on the small scale is punishable by law, simple! The fact that abuse did take place, your words, how can you say it never escalated beyond what you know. Why would any of the abused waste police time, which they can go to prison for if found they were lying. That is nativity on a grand scale on your part. There are plenty of other sides to the story which you are in denial about and they have got into the public forum
Posted by: Chaim Shimon | November 13, 2012 at 11:22 AM
Chaim Shimon - there's a MASSIVE between abuse and sexual abuse and believe you me if you would know some of the people who came forward with the story you would realise they have more guts than brains and did not consider the consequences should they loose the case.
When someone wants to take revenge they will to antything to anyone just because their kovod was hurt.
Posted by: R. Revach | November 13, 2012 at 11:45 AM
What I am trying to say is that the whole story is blown up from something small that happened over 10 years ago and that is not a problem anymore.
WHY NOW????
Posted by: R. Revach | November 13, 2012 at 11:54 AM
It seems, and i am not being nasty that you are more naive then i thought. If there was abuse, doesn't matter what or when its the victims decision whether to air it out with the police our not.to ruin a family and the wider family i am sure has been debated and if the conclusion was to call the police then its their prerogative to.how can you know it never escalated from physical abuse tosexual, you the victim here? You seem to be justifyingthat nothing wrong has been done, that's very intriguing.and btw are you married with kids?
Posted by: Chaim Shimon | November 13, 2012 at 12:23 PM
Yankel with respect it is your view that is skewed.
Think about it honestly. You say it is a tiny minority, but the facts do not support you. Every single big Rabbi in Manchester knows of this situation and many knew for years, but they chose to hide it. This is a crime of the masses. There are numerous abused children out there with ruined lives.
Maybe pedophiles like Todrus Grynhaus are in a minority, but crimes of charedi jews are rife and rampant.
Be brutally honest and take these points on board.
Do you know any kollel people who are no illegally claiming benefits? Most are.
Do you know any frum people who do not put the following on top of their shidduch list. Money, Yichus, LOOKS.
How many frum people do you know actually respect people that are slightly different from them? or non-jews?
Is it not true that most charedi jews have a holier than thou attidude?
Many haredim are actively involved in fraud?
Many haredim cover up the crimes of their community to protect their image?
Many haredim have a name for having no social skills or respect for anyone? think of the jews on planes.
Why is it that when haredim go away on holiday, the last thing they want is to see other jews on holiday? they want to avoid their own kind??? surely there is something wrong. I bet you have seen this phenomenon before
How many kollel people are in kollel, not because they actually love to learn, but because they have no other choice, as they have no skills, so cant earn a living any other way. I have had a few kollelmen admit this to me.
Many haredim demonise woman. Think of the Jewish newspapers that refuse to even print photos of any woman of any sort. Whether its a baby girl or an old grandma (think of Hamodia JT)
I can name many many more.
Our children see all this hypocrisy, hence why they are leaving Haredi cult in droves.
Yes this is a bit of an anti haredi rant, and it is true I do know a few genuine ones. But the genuine ones are in the minority, not the opposite.
Yes I know you will argue all the above points. But I grey up Haredi, I know the system inside out, and seen it for what it really is.
Posted by: Meir | November 13, 2012 at 03:28 PM
Chaim Shimon - let me just tell you that I happen to know (or at least I used to know - not sure if I want to know them anymore) one of the accusers and believe me its blown up.
You seem very adament about your point. I'm not sure why.
But try and chill and stop thinking you know everything.
And yes, I am married with kids, but what's that got to do with anything?

R.revach, classic denial, so you know or knew one of the accusers so out can't be true because they have blown it all up. As a parent you should know you can't even smack in public and abusing behind closed doors is mutter then according to you. alot of abused children sometimes become abusers themselves, so who gets the blame the abuser in the first instant or the children? However petty you might think this is or what your opinion is of the accusers i have been around this town long enough to know what really hours on in the real world of b.p

HOW DARE YOU!!!
Dayan Grynhaus has said that he DOES NOT IN ANY WAY CONDONE SUCH ACTS.
He is standing by his son as that is what (hopefully) any father would do.
Shame on you for writing such lies!!!

i dont know where to start. being an ex student of his many years ago i can personally say i was never sexually abused by him BUT physically beaten up with malicious intent. we are talking about a violent being who didnt care to beat you up at an age of 14 infront of your class. when i talk about beatings i mean using his opened hand across the face with strenght enough to make you cry or hitting on the backside with his leather sandal.
Yes you could say he was a good teacher but only for his selected few, if you were not in his circle of favourite students he would make ur life impossible, separating you from the group or making you do things which had othing to do with the class being given. i speak only for myself but i will not comment on thing which he did to other which i personally experienced. i do not wish to get back at him just i would like him to be punished for what he made us go through by the relevant authorities.

If guilty, castration is to be applauded ... after a compulsory time behind bars.
If not guilty, whoever levied these charges should bear the same punishment.

"Paedophilia is a medical condition" ... quote from Anti-Corruption above ... yeah, right!
There is a saying I learned years ago ....
"If you are kind to the cruel, you'll end up being cruel to the kind"
If this man is innocent I pray he will be found to be so.
If this man is guilty, the use of Orthodox Organisations to cover up, camouflage, hide or in any way protect him is a blatant AVERA against those he molested and G-d's very name.
But perhaps the less said the better ... by everyone.. till the case is judged.
Sadly, the complaint that we should not take such matters to non-Jewish Courts is not a valid one. It is NOT Lashon ha-Raa to say that Orthodoxy protects itself.
Being (or appearing to be) Orthodox is no guarantee of goodness, righteousness nor even religiosity.

SO SEXUALLY ASSULTING SOMEONE IS OSSUR MIN HATORAH BUT LASHON HORA ISN'T? YOU'RE ALL PATHETIC!
Posted by: GG | November 14, 2012 at 04:43 AM
If rabbonim can pick and choose, we can't? We demand equal rights!
Posted by: The In-the-Knower Rebbetzin | November 14, 2012 at 04:45 AM
Oh gg so because its "loshon horah" that's a reason to brush it under the carpet, screw the victims according to you. your naive to, and stupid that this issue should be kept quiet.i wish i had the guts to list other sexual predators, but it would be "loshon horah " so best i keep quiet and let life carry on.
Posted by: Chaim Shimon | November 14, 2012 at 04:52 AM
YOU ALL TALK LIKE YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON AND YOU KNOW THE EXACT DETAILS AND WHAT RABBONIM HAVE SAID. LET ME TELL YOU THAT NONE OF YOU KNOW, AND YOU WOULD BE SHOCKED TO HEAR THE ENTIRE STORY. SO DON'T BE SO QUICK TO JUDGE, THE STORY IS NOT SO SIMPLE.
Posted by: GG | November 14, 2012 at 04:53 AM
GG so what happened then? huh?
Are you so holy that only you can bear the shocking entire loshon hora-dige story?
Screaming "Loshon horah" in cases of exposing abuse ought not be the only time that people are mindful of shmiras haloshon. People gossip all day but when it comes to sharing vital information about shidduchim, or exposing abusers, suddenly everyone is a tzaddik.
This is le'toeles, so kindly dismount your helige horse. Remember, the same people you defend would be outraged that you're on the internet.

Chaim Shimon are you saying that all the Rabbonim in England are corrupt? You are judging through emotions and they are going by the word of the Torah!
Posted by: Little Me | November 14, 2012 at 05:04 AM
Not saying they are corrupt,i am saying they have the priorities wrong, keep everything under the carpet and hope it goes away.they are not giving the victims a chance, seems that the abusers get a better deal out of the rabbis. This is a subject that never gets talked about because its all kept quiet for the good of the Jewish image. The Torah says its ossur to have relations with relatives but to molest them and abuse them isn't covered? Wake up and smell the coffee all you naive people. Half you b.p probably go to the same shul as some abusers and you probably wouldn't even know.
Posted by: Chaim Shimon | November 14, 2012 at 05:29 AM
Chaim Shimon this all happened many years ago and has only been brought out now. He has clearly done teshuva for his sins and it is for Hashem to punish him not for us to send him to the goyshe courts which as far as i know it is ossur to send a Jew to the police.
Posted by: Little Me | November 14, 2012 at 05:34 AM
Can't you Get it in your heads, there is no time limit as to when it happened, this abuse can affect the victim for the rest of their life, so because he has done teshuvah itis all washed away, what planet do you live on Little me? Again thinking of the abuser and the Tribble their in and not worrying about the victims.i find it pretty sad you don't even contemplate what they go through. Well if you go to a rabbi andthey do nothing to sort the situation out why can't you go to the police?
Posted by: Chaim Shimon | November 14, 2012 at 05:41 AM
Chaim Shimon come back to us when you're G-D ok?
Posted by: Little Me | November 14, 2012 at 06:13 AM
Chaim Shimon - I agree with Little Me - like you alraedy know - and I am afraid you are the naive one.
You also seem to have it in for TG and you will not give in.
Shut your trap and keep your thoughts to yourself.
From half the stuff you've said I can see you really dont know the whole story.
You hate TG and you are not interested in anything that will defend him.
Shame on you.

Revach, you sound like a brute. I agree with Shimon your brutishness may stem from naivete, but there comes a point in someone's life where they should take responsibility for their ignorance. For ignorance can be dangerous. Go get educated. Learn about abuse and its impact and sequellae be it 1 day, 1 week, 1 month or 10 years later. See, for example, the link below filled with survivor stories. They are not Jewish, but even so they have feelings, too (I thought you might need that point spelled out).
http://dancinginthedarkness.com/
Below is a link to another website by the goyim again, who have spent a tad longer than you thinking about definitions of abuse and abusers and devising laws to protect against them.
http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2003/42/contents
They take their thinking beyond our 2 step procedure detailed below:
1. To go to the rabbonim, and
2. Let the rabbonim sweep it under the carpet.
Oh and we have a third step. Allow 10 years to elapse and consider the abuser transformed.
Back to your ignorance. Do kindly go and learn something as advised above. Should you choose not to take my advise to educate and inform yourself, can you then do us all the service of brushing your ignorance under the carpet and afford it the same secrecy that applies to the abuse scandals. Kapish?

To the contrary,i have nothing against t.g personally at all.its the issue at hand that we differ on. The in knower knows her stuff and i agree with her sentiments.

Ok I'll get back to you when I've learnt something.

Posted by: a shocked manchester residant | November 14, 2012 at 03:32 PM
Are you lot for real,i was being sarcastic you bunch of morons,i am fully aware of the abuse that goes on and i was saying that if you want the real story you would need to look under the carpet because that's where the rabbonim have swept it.
Posted by: Chaim Shimon | November 14, 2012 at 03:44 PM
: The In-the-Knower Rebbetzin, am i just thick or can't people understand English, or for that matter write English properly.
Posted by: Chaim Shimon | November 14, 2012 at 03:50 PM
oh! ok i am really sorry!
but i reaaly think that we should do some thing all these manchester abusers should come to justice and any one knowing names should please write it here.........
and now again is there anywere i can look up to read the entire story?
Posted by: a victim | November 14, 2012 at 03:51 PM
Alas, Chaim Shimon, its an uphill battle we're fighting on all fronts. Those who can't write struggle to read. I dread to think how their 'rithmetic is faring.
Hang in there. It might be our friend trolling.
Posted by: The In-the-Knower Rebbetzin | November 14, 2012 at 05:27 PM
Lol wishful thinking:-)
Posted by: Chaim Shimon | November 14, 2012 at 05:43 PM
should we really start writing names off pedphiles in manchester ? it would be bushois vecherpois........
Posted by: chaim shimon | November 14, 2012 at 06:02 PM
Chaim shimon - i think we should write the names of pedos in every community, this problem isnt confined to Manchester, i think if you go to other places you will find a similar amount of cases. Only now that this one has come out, many others will also and i dont think only there...
Posted by: Chaim cohen | November 14, 2012 at 06:23 PM
Reading this blog and am greatly amused at the use/abuse of the English vernacular. Where do these guys learn to read English, never mind spell correctly?
Reminds me of the Satmarer who said he refuses to go to the internet asifa due to some of the droshos being spoken in English....Said a wise man to him "English doesn't seem to be a problem when you watch iPlayer!
Abuse (of the National language) is rife in the chareidi community, and I'm taking it upon myself to name and shame those abusers publicly!
Posted by: English Officer | November 14, 2012 at 09:01 PM
English Officer - Be my guest. But then be as good as your word. And make sure your allegations stand up in Court, or you might find yourself in a LOT of trouble.
If your allegations are correct, nobody will take issue. And those that do are guilty of cover-ups.
So, go ahead. Do it.
