Police and Tax Authority agents raided the homes of three haredim yesterday morning, making three arrests.
The three haredi men allegedly used an existing nonprofit’s name – the Meah Shearim-based Bnos Yerushalayim school – and added the name Keren Moshe to it. The men then represented it as a new nonprofit and allegedly used it to bilk the government out of millions of shekels.
The real Bnos Yerushalayim school does not take any state funds because it is affiliated with the rabidly anti-Zionist Eidah Charedis faction.
The men allegedly used the names and identification numbers of students who study in Eidah Charedis schools, and took millions of shekels in government subsidies as if they were actually students in the Keren Moshe Bnos Yerushalayim school.
But the Keren Moshe Bnos Yerushalayim school does not exist.
The three men live in haredi enclaves, one in Ramat Beit Shemesh, another in Meah Shearim, and another in Givat Ze’ev resident.
This fraud is similar to the fraud allegedly carried out by 11 haredi men who were indicted yesterday for stealing millions of shekels from the government.
In both cases, the arrested men are primarily linked to Eidah Charedis.

There are over a hundred institutions that don't take any funds from the government.They raise funds all over the world plus there is an organization which gives every year about 4 million dollars to those institutions which helps a bit.
One of the reasons they wont take funds becuase they don't wont the government to have a say in what they must learn.In personal life i suppose most families do take funds.
