The Jerusalem Post reports that a Haifa sexual predator who was recently arrested allegedly assaulted at least seven teenage Ethiopian boys over a three-year period, carefully selecting and grooming them before raping them.
The suspect is in his 50s. The boys range in age from 13- to 17-years-old.
A police source reportedly said that the alleged victims all came from very poor immigrant families, and that most of the boys parents don’t understand Hebrew well and did not know how to report crimes to police. But that would not have mattered in most of the cases because parents only found out about the alleged rapes only when police told them, the source noted.
i hope these boys have a strong, smart and loving support system around them.

The pervert is unlikely to be Haredi, (1) Not many Haredim in Haifa (2) Haredim do not find black boys sexually attractive.
If so, not sure why it is reported here.

What a sick b-stard. They should throw him into Nablus and tell the Palestinians what he did. Better yet, put a sign on him in Arabic explaining what he did.

Because Lubavitch had extensive capabilities to help out Jewish communities in need, and especially to give the greatest help to the neediest. It refused to do anything for Ethiopians, and added insult to injury by propogating a policy to regard any Ethiopian of any status as a Gentile. This policy not only detracted from what could have been phenomenal assistance in rescuing the Ethiopian Jewish community and their integration in Israeli society, but also had a hand in the plight of their neglegt in Israel and their vulnerability.

maskil . . .mazel tov! is this guy a liberal or conservative? hmmm . . . there are strong arguments for either side of the political spectrum. I must say though that these kinds of actions are more about the perceived vulnerability of the victim(s) and not so much about ones political ideology.
