If we want to nominate a heckshering organization for 'most likely to uphold kashrut even at the expense of their own profits' I nominate KAJ.

Now THIS is a good statement! Factual, point by point rebuttal, with reference to the internal reporting processes they should reasonably have in place. Playing offense without sounding defensive. And reassuring.
Boy, I am definitely way too interested in this case...

The whole scandal appears to be a labor issue. The first complaints registered by the kashrut workers was of long hours and poor living conditions. These are quite tangible issues. The kashrut questions are vague and poorly defined falling under the heading of "rumors" and innuendo. Remember, whenever a mashgiach has serious questions about an carcass, he can stop the line. At the vary least they could slow the line down until their needs/demands are met.

It is true that Rabbi Fyzakov seems to be even more concerned about the ethicacy of Kashrut than even Rabbi Eliazare Ralbag; as I've personally witnessed Rabbi Fyzakov stop processes that I knew were questionable, that Rabbi Ralbag was unconcerned about; such as washing the carcasses with lactic acid.
On the other hand it was Rabbi Fyzakov who instituted retaliatory measures against all AER employees, for abuses of previliges of a few Israeli smokers; thereby being in severe violations of Jewish Law; as it concerns the treatment of employees. As Rabbi Ralbag appears to have approved these abuses. It renders any & all products certified by Triangle K as unkosher!
It is very simple to find out of Rabbi Fyzakov or Rabbi Ralbag actually believe if Hebrew National is Kosher. Ask them to eat it in open & in public.

Now that cigarette smoking has been officially made forbidden per rabbinic decisions in Israel,....does a smokin schochect have a chez at kashrut?

It has been a long time sine I posted here. The smoking prohibition actually went into effect in 1996 . I would not go so far as to say that shechita by smokers is unkosher. But what was done to us non smokers, was that we were asked to pay for the increased costs imposed by the smokers. I gave Fyzakof a com premise approved by Ralbag, which Fyzakof rejected. Ralbag did nothing. Therefore all hashgacha of triangle k is suspect. I have a video on you tube, watch it.
