Kletzky Killer Back In Court

Levi Aron appeared in Brooklyn Criminal Court yesterday via web cam from Bellvue Hospital for routine pre-trial motions and to schedule a new trial date. Last summer, Aron admitted killing and dismembering 8-year-old Leiby Kletzky but later changed his plea to not guilty. His attorneys are expected to try an insanity defense.

Accused killer of Brooklyn boy back in court

NEW YORK (News12) - An accused child killer from Brooklyn made an appearance in court via web cam yesterday.

Levi Aron appeared in Brooklyn Criminal Court for pre-trial motions and to reschedule a new court date

Police say Aron kidnapped 8-year-old Leiby Kletzy in July 2011, and brought him to a wedding in Rockland County. They say Aron then brought the boy back to his Brooklyn apartment, killed the child and dismembered his body.

Prosecutors yesterday asked for Aron\'s psychiatric records from Bellevue Hospital where he\'s being held. Lawyers for Aron say the man will plead not guilty, and they have prepared an insanity defense for when the case goes to trial.

Aron is due back in court May 25.

A video from the security camera at the Ateres Charna wedding hall in Rockland County confirmed that Aron was at the wedding, but no sign is seen of Kletzky.[19] A color surveillance video taken later that night at a Sunoco gas station on the Palisades Interstate Parkway showed Aron and Kletzky getting out of Aron's car and going into the bathroom. The video was time-stamped 8:15 p.m.

That being the case, why isn't this bald butcher being brought up on FEDERAL Kidnapping charges so that he can receive the death penalty?

If you were raped up the butt and then murdered and dismembered, would you and your family like that every time your name comes up someone remarks: "and he was also raped up the butt, don't forget"?!

Of all the senseless cold unfeeling things to do, people need to keep bringing up their theories that he was molested.

An 8 year old boy was brutally murdered. Does it matter if he was molested or not before the murder?!

Why the fascination about molestation? Does thinking about little boys being molested turn you on? Do you constantly think about little boys being molested? Normal people don't go around imagining little boys being molested, and so, it isn't the first thing that comes to mind.

In any event, in my opinion, Levy seems to be a serial killer who was just lucky to have been caught the first time he killed, not a child molestor. Serial killers don't kill because of sex (even when they do rape the victim), they kill because of the thrill and sometimes for reasons they themselves don't understand.

However, even were it to be true that he was molested, it's just in really bad taste to keep mentioning it.
