Earlier today, a Jerusalem Court ruled that Shlomo Fuchs, the haredi man who harassed a female soldier several weeks ago when she refused to move to the back of a bus and sit with the women, is banned from using all public transportation, Ynet reported.

However, with the agreement of police, the court canceled Fuch’s house arrest and other restrictions of his release.

Fuch’s public transportation ban may be lifted at a later stage of the legal process against him, or it might remain in place until the completion of the trial itself.

Fuchs was allegedly harassing a different woman when the female soldier interceded on her behalf. Fuchs responded by screaming at the soldier, calling her a “slut,” and ordering her to move to the back of the bus to sit with the women.

Fuchs told reporters after a recent court appearance that any woman who would stand on a bus intermingled with men is by definition a “slut” because her choice to do so is slutty.

If he is using the Smart Card (I don't know if it covers his route), they may give him a voided one, or carry one with his picture.

Recognizing him by the driver would be impossible (way too many Orthodox men!) or electronic or pin tagged (too expensive and demeaning). An escort is equally expensive, so the honor system would be, but I wouldn't trust this פחדן's honor as far as I could throw it.
