Rabbi Baruch Lebovits Out Clubbing?

These pictures allegedly show Rabbi Baruch Lebovits – who is supposed to be on house arrest – out clubbing last night at Club Dream's Matzo Ball party.

Update 12-28-2011 – Baruch Lebovits' attorney, Nathan Dershowitz, wrote me to say that Lebovits was not in the club and that these pictures are fake – and, of course, to threaten me with a lawsuit:

That's not a gold bracelet. It's a paper wristband that everyone in the club was given upon payment at the door, and the wrist band was required for all club patrons to wear as proof of entrance payment.

To the people complaining about image quality: this photo was taken by a cell phone camera. You can tell due to all the grain and the "blobbiness" of the pixels; it looks like a still of a YouTube video circa 2006.

If this is the person Shmarya thinks it is, then Rabbi Lebovits needs to be questioned.

The issue is moot anyway. Powerful rumor has it that he will be gone (as in "how come I can't move any of my tiny limbs anymore?") by the end of the week. Unlike his frugality, there is a huge price on that ugly head. How huge? Let's just say if I was in town this week, I'd do it myself. Perhaps I am in town this week. Time will tell but my FM friends won't (I hope).
