Notorious Agriprocessors Manager To Be Extradited To US

He’s almost back.
The extradition to the US of Hosam Amara, a former senior manager at Agriprocessors kosher slaughterhouse in Postville, Iowa, has been approved by the Jerusalem District Court, Arutz Sheva reported today.
Amara, a 46-year-old Israeli Arab viewed by many in Postville as Agriprocessors’ enforcer, fled to Israel with the assistance of Agriprocessors VP Sholom Rubashkin shortly after the massive immigration raid in May 2008.
Rubashkin would later be convicted of 86 counts of financial fraud. He is serving a 27-year sentence in federal prison.
Amara allegedly extorted many of the undocumented workers who sought work at Agriprocessors, forcing them to by used cars from him at vastly inflated prices in order to get jobs. He also allegedly extorted sexual favors from female workers and committed many other crimes, including harboring illegal aliens for profit.
Amara can appeal the court’s ruling.
The scheduled date for his extradition was not reported.
so this mean that Sholom is facing more jail time, i.e. new charges? or this is part of the persecution against him, because he is a chareidish?

@adams
He about neither.
So mean he faces charges for his own actions. Amara is not Charedi, and Rubashkin probably cannot be held criminally responsible for Amara's actions. I have seen no evidence that anyone motivated Amara or that he shared the money he extorted.

I can't wait!

If they can prove that rubashkin told this arab what to do then rubashkin has the right for another court case for his defence which he probably wont win. This should serve a lesson to all chareidim out there. That your black hat and kappotoh does nos not protect you from any wrongdoing. Chillul hashem is greater and should be punished more severly because of this chillul hashem.

Q. Why doesn't Shmaryah write a headline.
like "A Palestinian Arab Criminal to be extradited" like he would if the villain would be Chabad , Chareidi or the like?
A. Like Der Sturmer this this blog is maintained not to publish news objectively , but primarily to vilify religious Jews.
Cause you see Chareidim and Chabad adherents apparently commit crime because they are commanded to do so in their holy books and that's why their group identity must constantly be highlighted but criminals who are Arabs or others are criminals because of their own bad natures .

This will be payback time for Rubashkin & Co that vilified a fair and impartial judge as a 'born bad Ukrainian vicious anti-Semite'
Just watch! Amara will be the chief prosecution witness against Rubashkin all Amara has to do is to point at Rubashkin and say " He was my 'leader' and I followed his orders " [does that sound familiar?]

@Shmarya Watch
He identifies the man as Arab and not Haredi, and correctly identifies him as a former Agriprocessor manager and all the silly Nazi references in the world do not change that.
If that's not good enough for you, suggest you start your own blog.

I am glad that Israel is extraditing this gentile criminal. They should do the same with Jewish criminals. America is not Czarist Russia, and Jews can get a fair trial here. They can even get kosher food in prison.

I'm thinking Hosam will exchange pertinent information with the hope~to secure his chance of freedom. He will likely-never step foot on U.S. soil again.
Poor, poor Rubi . . .
Looks like everyone's going to need to pray harder.

@aaron theses cases have nothing to do with each other, and Shuchat isn't going to be extradited anytime soon, (July 12)sorry to ruin your day.

Yes but not in the headline because this blog is meant to stereotype demonize charedim not Arabs or anyone else.

Hosam Amara was originally hired by Aaron Rubashkin and brought from Israel to Postville to run the poultry line. He could be the wedge that opens the whole Rubashkin family can of worms and sends them all to jail.

State of Disgust- I like those thoughts of exposing the whole line of Rubies. Perhaps that's why Amara has been so passionately sought. I find it unusual that he was pursued to this extent and especially that Israel is supporting his extradition. Wonder what mischief he has been up to over there that they want him out of their country? Will his defense funds also come out of the lavish SMR funds?

It's true what other country would let these slimes fress kosher in the slammer? Only in America, a country which has been strangled by regulations makes sure all the religious can observe their special diets courtesy of the taxpayers.
In any case, I am glad this dirtbag will soon be on our soil, fressing on my dime or whatever, it's still good to see.

Would not be surprised if Heshy - or even Aaron - fled the country. They wouldn't go to Israel now that Hosam is being extradited, but would probably head for some South American country.

It is extremely significant that Hosam was hired by Aaron. It goes to Aaron's direct involvement in the running of the company. The prosecution would have to tie Aaron into misdeeds that occurred at that time which might involve labor law violations rather then fraud. I guess we'll see after Hosam is extradited - which might be awhile. I'm sure Hosam will appeal the extradition order.
