More than 500 people have already signed up to participate in News Year’s day protest against haredi gender segregation on public buses and in other public spaces in Israel, the Israeli daily Ha’aretz reported today.
The male and female protesters will ride so-called “mehadrin” buses, public buses which run in heavily haredi areas and which are gender segregated.
“This is not the society that I want to live or raise my children in,” the protests’ organizer Alon Visser wrote. “We cannot continue to be silent on the issue of gender segregation on bus lines – it is against the law and against human rights.”
The protests are planned for several locations in Jerusalem and in other locations in Central Israel.
finally
the herideim have pushed to far and now maybe the silent majority will act

These women should be given baseball bats to bash in some skulls, too. You need to speak to non-Jewish haredi shitbags in a language they understand.

Please. Enough with the violent talk already. You are as bad as the sicarii. At least the Maskilim didn't assault shtetl Jews. Your New Haskala had better do something, though. Either that or the secular should do what your Haredi grandparents did and move to America to live in safety among the goyim.

Good luck to the protestors. The gender segregation issue belongs to the Dark Ages. Dialogue is preferred. Sometimes I wonder...
How mature are Israelis ? Do they pride themselves on their excellence ?
How do they compare to the "primitive" goyim of other nations ?
In Papua New Guinea this morning a constitutional crisis is simmering. Things may get out of hand and violence may explode. There are two prime ministers, two police chiefs and two sides arguing over who should assume government. The two camps are going in to bat for Michael So mare and Peter O'Neill.
A wise man commented this morning that he was going to try and help solve the problem "The Melanesian Way" by getting the various parties to sit down and talk to each other.
How "primitive" !
