Sholom Rubashkin Writes Letter From Prison To Satmar Children
From federal prison, Sholom Rubashkin writes a letter to children from the Satmar hasidic sect who had written to him. What did the convicted felon tell the children? This…
Rubashkin writes that he received their letter and that he is very happy to know that Jewish children from Satmar are praying for him and studying in his merit so that he should be freed from prison.
King David says in Psalms that children’s prayers have the most impact on God, Rubashkin notes. Rubashkin also says that he is a proud Jew in prison and even though he is in prison he will not sin.
And then Rubashkin asks the children to study in his merit and to write something about [the Jewish mini-holiday] Pesach Sheyni. Rubashkin concludes by saying he hopes to be freed from prison so he will be able to fully serve God.
[Hat Tip: Burich.]
Why doesn't SMR practice what he is preaching, notice how when he was in business he picked and chose what he wanted to be religious about. I love these Jews they turn to hashem only when they are in trouble.Like his brother in law in jail,Mr. Milton Balkany, notice we don't hear about him anymore, i only hope the two of them spend the time in prison wisely, truly have bitachon and emunah with him. STOP MAKING HIM INTO SOME KIND OF REBBE, HE IS A DISHONEST MAN THAT DID ALL THOSE CRIMES PLUS MANY MANY MORE, WE SHOULD NEVER ALLOW OURSELVES TO USE HIM AS AN EXAMPLE TO OUR CHILDREN. WHAT ARE WE COMING TO TODAY??

Yes, he isn't sinning now since he is no longer in a position to violate child labor laws, worker safety laws, immigration laws and many others.

His bahavior more and more befits a rebbe perhaps he sees himself as an incarnation of the baal hatanya who was imprisioned for religious reasons, missives , weekly Torah teachings, could SMR be the next Lubavitcher rebbe ?
In order to prevent that scenario , he ought to be released immediately on probabtion and forced to live in Kiryat Joel for 20 years. Perhaps he could amnage their poultry plant after all that plant also has the OU seal of approval.

fruma sarah states, what will be will be,ai ai sholom what a shander. may the angels in heaven guide your wretched path to a brighter to-morrow. i do not believe for a moment that these strange people of chabad feel remorse for their deeds.they are always shocked that the law of the land applies to them.i once drank a lechaim[shared a bottle] that was from the hand of the rebbe.everyone around me was exstatic.actually it was no big deal
