Plot To Blow Up Israel Scientology Center, Murder Muslim Cleric Derailed
Israeli police thwarted what they say was a criminal plot camouflaged as right wing and ultra-Orthodox terror attacks. 11 suspects have been arrested.
A criminal plot disguised as right wing and haredi terror attacks was uncovered by Israeli police. According to Ynet, a criminal gang tried to blow up the Scientology center in Jaffa and a senior cleric at the city's Hassan Bek mosque.
The gang dressed as haredim for the Scientology attack, which failed due to a miscalculation with the explosive. For the mosque attack, they planned to spray paint right wing slogans near the site of the attack. The explosive device used in the mosque attack was discovered only hours before it was meant to be used.
Police sources told Ynet the case dates back to several 2010 arson cases, which caused over a million dollars in damages.
The motive for the Scientology attack was greed. According to Ynet, police say Gur Finkelstein, Scientology's legal representative in Israel (and, according to Ynet, worldwide, as well) ordered the building blown up:
…Police surveillance discovered that the man who ordered the "hit" on the Scientology center was none other than the Scientologists' very own legal representative in Israel and worldwide, Attorney Gur Finkelstein, who stood to benefit from the future reconstruction work, due to a close connection with the building contractors.
Police said that the suspects – including the Nizar Bakher, the Bakher family patriarch and his son Abdullah, as well as Finkelstein himself – have admitted their involvement..…
The motive for the planned mosque hit, sources say, was to settle a business dispute – with murder.
So far 11 suspects have been arrested. The state is expected to file formal indictments in the case later this the week.
How much you wanna bet that if this criminals had pulled up the caper we'd have seen a post on this blog: "Chareidim blow up Scientology Centre"?

scientology is probably the most blatant and obvious fraud of any religion. its followers are gullible fools whose money would be separated from them through financial darwinism one way or another. those running it are the scummiest of scum.
scientology is testament to the ease of fooling people with religious type claims.
it would be nice if they disappeared organically as a result of having failed in the marketplace of ideas.

Imagining those wack-jobs John Travolta and Kirstie Alley(ie?) dressed up as Hasideem to torch the Scientology bldg. Paraphrasing L. Ron Hubbard said, "If you wanna make REAL $, start a religion." The fact that they have a foothold in EY is the shanda here, not the failed havdalah ceremony.

A Scientology center AND a muslim cleric? Cool. At the end of the day, you get to travel in a huge spaceship with 72 virgins.

"False Flag" operations such as this are pretty typical Scientology behavior. They need it to look like everyone is out to get them so they can raise more money from their "followers".

I once found an old style Scientology 'meter' in some junk pile.
These things measure 'truth' turns out this thing was an expanded scale ohm meter to measure skin resistance[I am an electronic tech]
I later sold it to some collector

Yes, I believe these "E-Meters" are collector's items. Just think that some sucker paid many thousands of dollars for it. There is an article on the meters at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E-meter

I feel so sorry for The State of Israel. The military is now made up of 30%+ of Heredi young men and women who've grown into officers and now the leaders of the military are worried if these Heredi soldiers will follow orders unless their Cult Rabbis give the OK. Think they'll OK the dismantling of the illegal settlements?
There is big trouble brewing in Israel and the area is changing so fast, they better make sure their Battlefield Nukes are at the ready.

For a great read on Scientology see here:
http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2011/02/14/110214fa_fact_wright
It's very long, but very interesting.
APC - it gives a little insight into how these people get suckered in and then stuck. Everybody does stupid things now and then in their lives, but these people are really stuck. The powers that be at Scientology are completely ruthless in how they go after people who leave or who try to leave. You can read more about their methods here:

why
Posted by: seymour | May 17, 2011 at 06:16 PM
To seymour,
Because it is a false religion. L.Ron Hubbard was a snake oil salesman. Even his son disowned him. I read the Holy Book of Scientology "Dianetics" in 1993 as one of my investigations into comparative religion/belief. It is D grade sci-fi. Makes the Raelians and Urantians seem reasonable. They prey on the ignorance and lack of self confidence of people and get them into the cult. The senior management of scientology are experts at working out how to extremely wealthy "stars" to rope into their sect. People like : John Travolta; Tom Cruise etc. Even Australian billionaire businessman and heir James Packer flirted with them for a few years before he got out in 2008.

Do you think the kabbala center is any better
Posted by: seymour | May 17, 2011 at 07:11 PM
To seymour,
Don't copy and paste when replying. It makes the page look cluttered. As far as kabbalah goes I have never studied it. I have my own cosmology and insight on the metaphysical realm. The sefirot is a great tool hoever. At least Kabbalah is Jewish in origin. Scientology is the bastard offspring of 1950's sci-fi pulp fiction.

Abracadabra -
yup. i've read lots of expose's about their tactics and much on their teachings. i enjoy reading about really stupid claims such as them, mormons, the cargo cults , specificaly the john frum crowd etc...
it sheds light on how easy it is fool people into believing almost anything. and yet they are all SURE they are right.
adam neira(moshiach)-
the last person i want deciding which religion is false, and conversely implying that others are true, is you.
Scientology is the bastard offspring of 1950's sci-fi pulp fiction.
and others will say that the torah is the bastard offspring of ancient canaanite, sumerian and egyptian myths.

Yet another example of leftist Israelis and/or Arabs themselves committing vandalism and/or violence against Muslims/Arabs and then framing rightwing and settler Jews for the crime by spraying "price tag" afterwards.
Unfortunately the "price tag policy" is simply a myth. (Recent polls showed that the majority of Israelis would support such a price tag policy if it really existed)
Here are some telling snippets from Israelmatzav
" An alleged Arab Israeli Jaffa crime organization planned to detonate a bomb under the car of a Muslim sheikh last month over a business dispute and then spray paint 'price-tag' graffiti in the area in order to draw blame on the far right, police suspect."
" In an unrelated plot, the suspects were allegedly hired by a lawyer, named as Gor Finkelstein, to harm Shota Hovel, head of the construction oversight department at Tel Aviv Municiaplity, over Hovel's decision to knock down a building in Jaffa owned by Scientologists due to building regulations."
" The suspects allegedly were dressed up as Orthodox Jews, in the hope that the attack would be blamed on Jewish religious organizations who are opposed to the presence of Scientology in Israel."

The story is all over the Israeli radio. At least now people will wake up to the tactics of shin bet and the arabs themselves when they try to frame rightwing Jews for crimes they didn't commit and then "investigate" the crimes by kidnapping and holding without charge such Jewish heroes as Chaim Pearlman, the Kahane grandson, and many others. They simply persecute these Jews because of their beliefs and opposition to Oslo suicide.

To ah-pee-chorus,
I have no problem with outlawing some "religions". Satanism is a good example. Incorrect views of the universe lead to toxic ideologies and negative behavior. We need to clean up the collective consciousness of the world not pollute it. As the Messianic Era unfolds all roads will lead to G-d it's just at the moment some are dead ends.

We need to clean up the collective consciousness of the world...
Those Orek vacuum cleaners claim to be really good in their ads - if they don't have a "collective consciousness" setting I'm sure we can prevail on them to add one.
Better yet - let's bring in Mr. Clean! (Only problem is he doesn't LOOK much like Moshiach does in the coloring books...)
Posted by: Abracadabra | May 18, 2011 at 03:21 AM
To Abracadabra,
Very funny. I used to clean nursing homes with a Kirby vacuum cleaner in my student days, so I like your analogy. BTW, what does Moshiach look like in those colouring-in books ? The very first time I even saw the word Moshiach was in a small book I picked up by "chance" at a second hand bookshop in Eltham, outer Melbourne in early 2002 whilst I was doing a market research job on buses. The book was "My Name is Asher Lev". The website www.worldpeace2050.com was set up in April 2000. G-d has excellent timing I think.

adam, you better be careful. there are some people out there who may want to outlaw false-messianism.
Posted by: ah-pee-chorus | May 18, 2011 at 05:46 PM
To ah-pee-chorus,
If someone came along who could prove how all of the Thirteen Articles of Faith are true would you respect him ?
If someone came along who had a workable plan for fulfilling the Messianic job conditions would you respect him ?
If someone came along who could prove divine revelation and prophecy would you respect him ?
I'll repeat something impotant here...
G-d is the superset of all creation. As Maimonides explains in "Guide for the Perplexed" prophetic insight is given to certain people throughout history. The revelation of Moshiach as enunciated by the "Twelfth Article of Faith" unfolds over time. For the person anointed as the righteous redeemer/prince of peace/wise counsellor the process is interesting.
He will have inklings of his true purpose all throughout his life, but the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle will become clearer at certain specific times. The revelations will be intensely personal and private between G-d and himself. This will lead to feelings of surprise, wonder, awe, confusion, fear, anger, annoyance, lethargy, inspiration, invigoration and acceptance. He will learn how to orientate and position himself so as to best maximise his role and function in the service of the ultimate mission. He will be mis-interpreted by many people and will attract real hatred, envy, jealousy and vitriol. He will be very close to G-d. His power and influence will grow over time. G-d will assist him in his mission.
BTW, the only person who would know all this you presume would in fact be Moshiach.

"The motive for the planned mosque hit, sources say, was to settle a business dispute – with murder."
Scientology attorney Gur Finkelstein is one more who has been caught exposing what is behind the facade used by Scientology of "helping humanity". Behind a few help activities, they do this style. It has become recognized world wide as a signature Scientology operations of their Office of Special Affairs.
Look up "Scientology Black Propaganda" to learn how they operate.
Also Google REX FOWLER, Murder. A Scientology OT VII who was convicted a couple of months ago for murdering a business associate.
What a tragedy. And commending gratitude to the smart people who averted this disaster. We need more people to be so smart and alert! Thank you.

Here you can read about some of the tactics the Scientology group has become known for. The Scientology Office of Special Affairs does surveillance on many people and plan ways to ruin imagined "enemies" of the Scientology Corporation.
They hire private investigators, trolls, hackers and there is, in my opinion, no way they did not know what their own attorney Finkelstein was plotting because the attorneys they hire are their puppets.
Here is a story about how Scientology tried to ruin a Washington Post reporter by plotting against him:

Forgive me if I post one more comment but it is important to this issue. This article describes the plots perpetrated against Paulette Cooper, a respected journalist who suffered at the hands of Scientology Office of Special Affairs plots. Last week she protested the Simon Weisenthal Center giving Tom Cruise (a Scientology promoter) an award and this article lists why. The plots seem incredible, just as these events are ...too evil to believe, But we had better look.

Finkelstein and other operatives called these plots operation "Violet Wreath."
""The operation, dubbed "Violet Wreath," has been said to unearth a plot "stunning in its scope, sophistication and far-reaching ramifications," police sources said Tuesday."
Sounds typical. Reminiscent of Scientology Operation Snow White.
Posted by: B. Weiss | May 19, 2011 at 04:19 PM
Rings a bell. "Black propaganda" is a technical term for the "operating procedure" of the Scientology Office of Special Affairs. Also known as Scientology OSA, it plots capers to destroy reputation or public belief in persons, companies or nations.
CHURCH POLICY: The technique seeks to bring a reputation so low that the person, company or nation is denied any rights whatever by "general agreement." It is then possible to destroy the person, company or nation with a minor attack if the black propaganda itself has not already accomplished this.
It will be interesting to see if Operation Violet Wreath is hatched by the same chickens as Scientology's Operation Snow White. (They were convicted and indicted for Operation Snow White, a systematic attempt to infiltrate the US government and deemed the largest infiltration in US history).
"stunning in its scope, sophistication and far-reaching ramifications,"
in this case so deadly, a major global disaster was averted.
Manipulation and Conniving seems to be the brand of the Scientology business. What else are they hatching up their sleeves!?
