Conservative Rabbi Wins $29,200 On Jeopardy
Jews have a reputation for answering a question with a question. That might help explain Rabbi Joyce Newmark’s big news -- she is now a “Jeopardy!” champion.
Newmark, who wore a yarmulke (skullcap) on-air as she does off-air is back on the show today to defend her title.
Rabbi Jason Miller, writing for the JTA, closes his story with a humorous note :
At her audition, she was asked to fill out a form informing the producers if there were specific dates when she would not be available to tape. She wrote “Jewish holidays.”
Upon receiving the congratulatory call from the show about her selection, Newmark expressed surprise, explaining that she had never expected to be picked.
“We actually were going to call you two months ago,” the show official told Newmark, “but it was during Chanukah, so we figured you couldn’t come.”

simple that a Rabbi could get in the news for getting money and no scam was involved
to show the heriedeim it can happen if they try hard

Seymour, the charedim do not even consider her a rabbi, and will not even look at a photo of her.
And being on Jeopardy requires an excellent secular education, and reading a lot of books.
But the frumma will salivate at a chance to now scam her out of the money.
