Chag Kasher Vesameach to all!

To all the crew here at FM, a wonderful and kosher Pesach!
Posted by: WoolSilkCotton | April 18, 2011 at 03:13 PM
My thoughts and prayers are with Jewish children who are currently being abused in their home and adult survivors who have are struggling emotionally during this time of year.
After polling many adult Jewish survivors, the majority of them stated that their abuse intensified right before Pesach and continued throughout the chag.
So many adult survivors do not feel safe going to seders because of the memories they invoke from our childhoods. We must NOT forget them in our prayers both tonight and tomorrow night's seders.

all the best to all.

Happy Pesach to all the scallywags at FM !
Hope is that precious commodity that sustains the soul. The Exodus story is a metaphor about hope on a personal, national and global level. No one can deny that the story of the Jewish people is truly remarkable. More than three thousand years of continuous observance of tradition in the face of truly remarkable odds. G-d does have a plan, even if it at times the darkness seems so great.
"Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever."
- Exodus 32:13

Just to show off a bit ;)
Thats what I will be enjoying for the next 7 days.
The genuine, self made, shmura matzah ;)
This is mine! Where is yours?!!

Kol hakavod, Aleksandr, for the initiative in making your own matzah. It does, however, look inedible. Hope that you've bought some kosher l'pesach antacids--you'll need it.

No, it is actually quite good. Almost like the store bought smurah matzos.
But it is my camera that sucks and makes it look like that (inedible). Sorry ;)
I guess its time to buy a new camera ;)
