Exclusive: Rabbi Nechemya Weberman Allegedly Tries To Use Backdoor Contacts To Get The Rape Charges Against Him Dismissed

Weberman's family and supporters are trying to intimidate alleged victims and their families, and now Weberman himself is allegedly reaching out to Miami Beach to have some very special strings pulled.

 

A source familiar with the situation writes:

[Nechemya] Weberman has been in contact with his relative Rabbi Pinchas Weberman, a chaplain  with the ATF [Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, a federal law enforcement agency] and other groups. [He’s a] leading rabbi  in Miami [Beach trying] to use  his connections  to get [the] charges dropped.

Pichas Weberman is making an all out push to do so because he fears the family’s name is being ruined and his airline and boat  catering business  may suffer [as a result]. He is a very shrewd behind the scenes operator with many high level contacts.

Jay makes a good point-Molesting and abusing children is horrible, but I really can't blame the guy for trying to use his connections to get out of trouble. Although not at all the same, by any stretch, but if you got a ticket for speeding, and you actually were speeding, you very well might call your friend who works for the traffic judge. Now in this case if it were to work, and he truly molested a minor, and got away with it, then that would be a major flaw in the system, which is significantly more fundamental and beyond the issue of child abuse. Rabbi Weberman from Miami is good people . This is a fact . He truly lives for other people, he regularly goes above and beyond for people he has never met before. The Webermans had plenty of Shomer Shabbos neighbors for many years. The Rabbi just never considered anyone frum enough to even say Good Shabbos to.

Rabbi Benzaquen lived across the street and hosted Chief Sephardic Rabbi Bakshi Doron at his house on several occasions.

Rabbi Amsalem lived right around the corner for many years. Rabbi Cohen lived across the street. Rabbi Benchimol also lives on South Shore Dr. as does Rabbi Pearlson.

1. I was on a Kosherica cruise 6 years ago. Swordfish was on the menu. The caterers said Rabbi Weberman and another Miami Beach Rabbi Bixon approved swordfish as kosher fish...but who knows if Rabbi weberman actually did give the ok.

2. Rabbi Webermans shul is empty all year with no minyan other than a few straglers and his grandchildren.

3. Esther Maria Vinas Weberman (his daughter inlaw) and her family were not M"Guyer by Rabbi Weberman, They were M'Guyer by the deceased Miami Beach Artists "Raphaeli" after professing to be Morranos from the 1500's.

4. Rabbi Weberman does devote his life to the tzibbur as he supervises the Mikveh and Eruv in Miami Beach.

5.Rabbi Weberman will help his freinds and colleagues and will go beyond the bounds of duty to help them help themselves.

6. He has many children and many many grand children so if a few are not Shomer Shabbos or balei avodah zorah the percentage is within acceptable...no?

Orthodox or not, do you wonder "why" there is antisemitism? The facts need to come out, but for you to naively believe that even a religious person is beyond human "sins", then you are are just as culpable as the alleged molester. My father was a physician in n orthodox neighborhood in NJ. He was a king, loving, and caring individual who upheld the Hippocratic oath. I was aware of certain instances where "certain" Jews would not allow a gentile to examine them. Do I need to expand any further?Religion does not allow for hate- no matter what religion that is.
