Dear Aleph Personnel,

In appreciation for all that you are, your caring, love and devotion, and all that you do for your fellow Jew, THANK YOU.

I am saying it in the singular sense because you always do it with the caring of an individual.

Even though there are many individuals doing the many tasks Aleph needs to do, they are all done in a personal caring manner.

The healthy mental state of mind of the prisoner is so important, not only to himself. It is important also to those family members that are not in prison and need to know that their loved one are being allowed to stay in touch with what is holy to them. Aleph gives each and every Jew in prison the ability to be heard and helped in areas that would be lost in the rush of the work day. They help realize the ability of religious rights.  so many things are done for Jewish prisoners by Aleph.

Starting with the basic need for a Jew in prison, which is the ability to eat kosher food, to the spiritual fulfillment of Toirah and Mitzvohs and the ability to celebrate Holidays which we hold so dear. Through the help of Aleph we can lead a healthy spiritual life, which translates to a healthy physical mind and soul. Looking forward to the day we can finally be reunited with our loved ones.

Baruch Hashem there is Aleph. The letter Aleph is constructed by making a dot on the top a dot on the bottom and a line that connects the two. Why didn't the bearded millionaire and convicted criminal "Rabbi" Rubashkin mention the importance of tzuvah in his letter to the masses.

Because tzuvah requires that the criminal element must first pay the court ordered $2 million fine and the 10's of millions of Dollares Americanos he scammed the United States government out of.

Money that was earmarked for the defence budget of the Jewish State and social services here at home.

Far better and cheaper to extol the virtues of others which in turn keeps him in the limelight because gone from sight

But I, along with many others from Postville, have suffered greatly in our family life and finances due to his crimes, and to this day I have not heard so much as a single "sorry" from him.

I can agree that the sentences in the US (and especially under the Fed jurisdiction) are too long, and abolishment of parole, home vacations and extended family/conjugal visits is cruel. To lock human being for tens of years or sometimes for life without the possibility to touch his or her spouse is clearly cruel and unusual punishment. But I don't remember that Chabad or other Haredim even complained about these conditions, before somebody from their elite goes behind the bars

I have no sympathy for him- it's nice that he's bringing recognition to Aleph but guaranty the moment he is out (if that happens) he forgets them. Most inmates do.

Wonder if they ever found the cell phone that was smuggled in for him? He doesn't deserve sympathy, even if he was over-sentenced before, his actions now in prison are enough to merit him a long visit within the BOP (if they ever follow upon it).
