Haredi Sex Offender Jerry Yechiel Brauner Sentencing Tomorrow
Brauner reportedly told friends he was "going away" this week but would see them on Rosh HaShana, which begins the night of September 8th.
Could Brauner really be getting a 6 week sentence?
Lets hope not.
[Hat Tip: Burich.]
I hope that the judge takes this matter seriously and gives him a proper sentence. One that will have people think twice before committing such an evil act. There better not be a whole conspiracy theory like how the victims lied like in the Kolko case or a "pidgin shevuyim" campaign.

Well, he pled guilty and he's in Criminal Court, which means it's a misdemeanor...

If this man is related to the owner's of the famous Brauner's bakery in Borough Park, then it should be made clear that his family adopted the Brauner name from some uncle or distant relative of theirs only around WWII when they needed identity documents to flee Europe.
They have no known family connection with us.

On what basis does he think he is only getting six weeks for these crimes?

I googled his name and I see he was arrested with a guy Farkas. Is this the same Farkas that got 4 years? If that's the case, I understand why 4 years would be appropriate. The judge probably knows he is a pedophile! Probably nailed him on nonsense...
