Leading National Religious Rabbi Tells Followers To Join Massive Haredi Protest Against State And Supreme Court
Rabbi Zalman Melamed: Join the Hareidi Rally
Eli Stutz • INN
Rosh Yeshiva and Chief Rabbi of Beit El, Rabbi Zalman Melamed expressed full support for the mass hareidi rally against the Supreme Court and called on the public to attend.
The issue is the Supreme Court ruling that forces Hassidic parents in the Shomron town of Emanuel to send their daughters to a school that they believe does not meet their religious standards. The Supreme Court ordered the parents of the girls to arrive for their imprisonment at 5 o’clock this afternoon, in light of the position of the parents not to negotiate a compromise.
In a cross-denominational show of support, Rabbi Melamed told Arutz Sheva that, “the separation in Emmanuel is on ethnic grounds. Of course we favor an integration of all communities in our educational institutions. Nevertheless, I call to participate in a demonstration to protest the intervention of the Supreme Court in educational matters.”…
Apologies to U2
One man come in the name of hate
One man a stone throws
One man trolls here to justify
One man to overthrow
Chorus:
In the name of hate!
One man in the name of hate
In the name of hate!
What more? In the name of hate!
One man caught on a barbed wire fence
One man he resists
One man burns a garbadge bin
One man is farmished
chorus
...nobody likes you...there nobody likes you...
Oy...oy...oy...
Afternoon, June 17
Riot breaks out in Yerushalayim
Back to the ghetto, that's where we're headed
They could not take my enayim
chorus

Rav Melamed is wasting his time. The Chareidim will not say "Oh look, the Datim Leumim are supporting us, that's great!" They'll more likely ignore it. So he's not gaining any supporters that way.
As for the Supreme Court, yes he has a point since tomorrow they may decide that separation of gender in worship is also illegal in an "enlightened" state. But he can't change their minds either.
So what is he hoping to accomplish?

Also Chabad in Israel fully supports the racialist parents from Emanuel. Both Brod, the official press-secretary of Israeli anti, both Wolpo, the leading Rabbi of Isreali Mashihistim, clearly supported the parents.
I am happy to see that the myth that Chabad and today's National-Religious circles are not racists and open to everybody comes to end. They ARE primitive and racist bigots SAME as others; no differences between Kfar Chabad, Merkaz Harav or Satmer. Humanistic and enlighted Judaism like of JB is died.

Rav Melamed intervened in my behalf when a Ganev from Bet El tried to swindle over $600 American from me.
I purchased a large library of books from this English Oleh and his wife, and 7 months went by and - no books. They dodged my phone calls and ignored my emails. When I went to the police, I got a runaround like you wouldn't believe. I spoke with detectives, different precincts (Jerusalem, Binyamin, etc. etc.), and it was obvious the Mishtara did not want to help me.
When I finally reached the Ganev, he told me, "It's hard to mail things from Bet El. I have to pack all the books myself, then I have to take a wheel barrow and schlep the books myself." I responded angrily, "But you took my VISA number and had no trouble taking my hard-earned money! Now you have the nerve to deliberately withhold the merchandise from a customer who has paid in full - 7 months ago?!!"
Needless to say, about another month went by and I still had not received the Sefarim. Then a friend of mine who used to live at Bet El gave me Rav Melamed's home number. He said, "I have always known Rav Melamed to be a straight shooter".
I reached the Rav -who doesn't speak a word of English and told me he has never been to America (interesting, eh?)- and immediately he said of this man in his community who took my money "Zeh Geneiva! Ani Adaber Ito Miyad". I receieved the books- all except one- in about two weeks.
Rav Melamed was indeed a straight shooter, who evinced a no b.s., black and white ethic and ACTUALLY CAME TO THE AID OF THE VICTIM. There was nothing in it for him, I was no big donor to Bet El, just a Chulnik (diaspora Jew) who was ripped off. I personally know a Chasidic rebbe in Boro Park- who took a $14,000 Nedava from my family over ten years ago and never put up the name plaques. When I wrote a letter to the rebbe, his holy majesty called me up and yelled at me, calling me names like you wouldn't believe. This is not a Gabbai - he is an actual Admor (whose grandfather was brought over to America by MY great-grandfather). This is what normally goes on. So I was a bit surprised when Rav Melamed was so quick in helping me.
I think Rav Melamed's no b.s. ethic stems from the fact that unlike these Chasidic parasites, he has NOT spent his life making moral and ethical excuses for himself and his cohorts. Rav Melamed is a DOER. He was a highly decorated combat soldier (I believe in the Yom Kippur War) and so he has a history of putting his own rear-end on the line for Am Yisrael. Unlike the fakers in Kapotes, who throw their brothers to the fire and run away with a knowing smile.

Seems to me that Melamed should be arrested for inciting a riot.
Put him to work for a week on a rock pile. It would do him some good.

In the 1960s, in America, some rabbis (incl. Orthodox rabbis) were at the forefront of the civil rights movement, fighting for equal rights and the principle that separate but equal is (by definition) not equal. I don't know of any rabbis who said at that point that segregation is wrong, but the state has no right to interfere. This is a cop-out answer by Melamed, and I don't care if he did once help Bronx Jew get some books he paid for (although it was certainly nice of him to do so).
Hey, Bronx Jew, you know that if you pay by Visa and don't get the merchandise, you can always cancel the charge, right?

Not all the RZ are idiots !
A leading spokesman of Israel's modern Orthodox stream on Thursday urged religious Zionists not to take part in the mass protests, regardless of the political price they may pay in the future for refusing to support the movement.
"I cannot take part in the racism and discrimination that is taking place, which is just the tip of the iceberg," said Rabbi Yuval Sherlo, who heads the joint army-yeshiva program in Petah Tikva.
Religious Zionism must "return to its historic role" and bring both sides to a compromise. "It's impossible to claim that this is Jewish law or that it is sanctifying the name of God," he said.

Since when is a protest a "riot?" The rabbi did NOT encourage a riot.
Ah, we see that liberals deep down really hate the constitution (or similar manifestations of its concepts in other countries) and all that it stands for. They can't stand that religious Jews have a right to assembly and protest! Probably they don't want anyone to have those rights - except for maybe themselves.

Indeed feeble minded Nobody
1- FYI Israel is without constitution (lest it clash with these wicked idiots)
2- They are Protesting being prohibited to practice racial segregation?
3-Rights of abusing the others by misusing public funds? Oh yes, and can I ask for the right to spit on them?
