Haredim Riot In Bnei Brak
Hundreds of haredim hurl stones, block traffic in ultra-Orthodox enclave; two people hurt
Yoav Zitun • Ynet
Hundreds of haredim rioted early Wednesday in the ultra-Orthodox enclave of Bnei Brak, near Tel Aviv, wounding two people.
The rioters ignited tires and wood, blocked traffic, and hurled stones at vehicles and buses at the site. The violence apparently erupted to protest the recent removal of ancient graves in Ashkelon and Jaffa.
Police detained three rioters around 10 pm Tuesday, yet the violence resumed two hours later, after police officers left the scene. Police officials did not send any forces to the area for some time, despite the renewal of the riots.
Two people sustained light wounds after being hurt by stones and were taken to hospital by private ambulances.
The protestors also hurled stones at motorists who attempted to remove burning tires and at residents who gathered in the area to watch the violence.
For what reason are these people rioting this time ? The article does not mention this.

At least they left the garbage bins alone this time.

At least they left the garbage bins alone this time.
It wouldn't make much difference. Most haredim prefer to throw their trash on the ground, not in bins.

Let the hooligans do us all a favor and kill each other.
In the meantime, if they wreck their own neighborhoods it should stay wrecked until the local population pays for the repairs. That will get the leadership to denounce the violence and for the locals to band together to kick out or subdue the rioters.
Money always talks. Hit them where it hurts them the most.
Punishments for rioters arrested and found guilty should be a loss of government handouts (for life), and then when they loose all their government benefits, they should be hit with more monetary fines, and not be let out of jail until those fines are paid.
Or, just let their neighborhoods rot and don't repair the damage. Decent people will move out or band together to subdue the hooligans in their midst.

Chareidim have got to stop with this worshiping of pagan bones. Now if Palestinians want to stop house demolitions they should convert to Christianity and start burying relics of saints under their foundations. Even better they should find relics of Christian saints who were halachically Jewish. Saint Paul and any of the apostles would be excellent for that purpose. The only downside is that they will owe favors to some pretty unsavory folk.

I'm sure they can reliably claim that there are Muslim bones who are descended of Jewish converts to Islam. Since the conversions may well have been forced, the bones deserve the same respect that is afforded to the pagan bones demanding these riots.

Cut off all govt aid for the entire city, Yeshivot and all. They can all move back to Ponovitz and the other European cities that they came from. Tear gas and rubber bullits and a free one way ticket to any place that will take them is. Maybe Williamsburg or Kiryat Yoel.

Rabbidw - Agreed. But no one wants them. Not even Kiryas Yoel. Best bet is to ship them to Gaza. They keep saying they want the Arab rule over the "evil tzionistim" so - ship 'em off to Gaza and give 'em what they ask for!
Yerachmiel - PLEASE don't give 'em any good ideas!!!! They pull enough crap as it is!
