Torah Studies Teacher Arrested For Sexually Assaulting Two Minors

Suspect also physically assaulted the victims' brother.

Police will seek a remand extension Wednesday for a Torah studies teacher arrested Tuesday on suspicion he sexually assaulted two teenage girls.

The 40-year-old Petah Tikva resident is also accused of physically assaulting the girls' 15-year-old brother.

The suspect has denied the sexually assault charges, but reportedly told police he used physical violence against the teenage boy as an "educational" exercise meant to cleanse him of his sins.
