Rabbi Baruch Lanner Sex Registry Update
As I reported yesterday, the Monmouth County Prosecutor did not return my call or calls from the Jewish Week regarding Rabbi Baruch Lanner's name being removed from the registry.
Lanner's parole finishes next month.
A few moments ago I called the prosecutor's office again to try to get someone to answer the question.
That someone, Peter Boser, head of the sex crimes division, is in court. The wait continues.

I don't get it. What was the update?

If there is a legitimate reason, we have the right to hear it. If there is no legitimate reason, they shouldn't have done it.
why someone may have been removed from the sex offender registry is “confidential” and not a matter of public record,
I have problems with this. Why would this be confidential but to protect the molester and the dummy who made the decision to remove a name. And I don't think confidentiality is meant to protect molesters or knuckleheads.
At one point one of our volunteers spoke to Lanner's current parole officer, who stated that asking the question regarding Lanner's removal from the sex offender registry could be seen as a "hate crime", for harassing the offender.
I also have problems with the above statement in that it is blatantly false and was made to intimidate people. Using the law to intimidate people by falsely alleging they may or have committed a crime is a crime. IOW, they are guilty of what they are accusing others of trying to do. Idiots.

The update, 'harold,' is that the prosecutor did not call back and is clearly ducking questions regarding this.
But you knew that anyway, now didn't you?

Lanner showed his face in Boca Raton over Sukkot visiting his son.

And he is off the Florida registry, as well, because other states and the feds follow what the state where the crime was committed and tried does.

Did you have to post such a large picture of his mug? Yuck!

At the Boca Raton Synagogue, they gave him an aliyah and let him give a shiur. This is the state of Judiasm in Boca.
