Auction Of Rubashkin Trucking Company Assets Today
Auction of Best Value assets to be held at the Cattle Congress in Waterloo, Iowa – the same facility where undocumented Agriprocessors employees were initially incarcerated and then tried.
Trucks in front of Agriprocessors.
Best Value, Inc. has been in bankruptcy since March of this year.
Here are two related court documents. The first has a judicial order followed by a list of items to be auctioned. The second is an amended order related to today's auction.

Are some or all of the trucks listed in the Auction List, used by Agri-Star in its normal conduct of business?
If so, is HF legally entitled to re-purchase them?

Most likely.
If so, is HF legally entitled to re-purchase them?
Yes.

I wonder whether the "reefers" are all referring to refrigerated containers or if some are in fact referring to a more useful piece of equipment.

From what I've observed of the 'trucking company, it would take several parts from several 'trucks' to make one usable 'truck' worthy of selling.

Sounds like it's not a great day for HF.

You are all insane
the semis from best value are in very good shape--you all blow more smoke and lies then anyone we know.

[the semis from best value are in very good shape]
Well then, they should be able to bring top dollar for the 'semis' you post of/about. The ones I saw between the former ITP and the former Mueller Concrete building, were in sad shape. The only marketable value for the semis sporting the 'Best Value' logo that I observed . . . a priceless chuckle.
BTW -
(I am aware of someone who has actually photographed the scavenged 'Best Value' 'graveyard'.)

The two tractors from 2008 and the one from 2009 should bring top dollar if they have been maintained. The rest look too old to bring good money. One of the things that usually goes by the way when a company is in trouble is maintenance. Everyone in the biz knows it.
Seems to me there was once someone on this blog who used to drive for Agri. What do you say about the maintenance issue?

The Chabad menorah looks like a cladogram, one straight line of descent evolving into the REBBE by natural selection. Who says these people don't believe in science?

It was I who drove for Best Value. There where times when the shop couldn't get parts because of bills to the suppliers where not being paid on time. Furthermore the 3 good trucks mentionioned where bought back by Agri-Star. Most of the trucks where very high milage. The shop did the best they could with what they had. As to fairisfair I challange you to take any of the older trucks sold and try to make it through a DOT inspection, then if it passes to drive to NYC and back without a breakdown.

I agree the two tractors on 2008 and the one for 2009 should get some income.
