I find it disturbing to see Jews against Jews. How our minds have become disorted, to see the differences among us rather than the similarities. I've always had an idealistic version of how life is "supposed" to be. I'll never forget, when I first met a lovely Jewish woman from Wiliamsburg. Yes, we dressed differently, but to me, we were both Jews. But then, it sank in, how others view things. As this woman said to me, "It is so amazing that we meet each other in this location, for where else would our lives cross paths??
To me, it hurt to hear her words, as I saw our samenesses rather than our differences. Here, the visual clearly shows the "differences", and I am sure these differences are what pits Jew against Jew. What has become of us. Oy gevald!
