The fires happened early Saturday morning in…

…the RO-KA Acres area of Postville. Two cars were burned. One allegedly had the remnants of a rag stuffed in its open gas tank.

RO-KA Acres is where a lot of the women wearing ankle tracking bracelets live.

I'll post more on this if and when it becomes available or is confirmed, as the case may be.

There is a billboard that stands in the middle of a town in Mexico which reads, "Postville, Iowa tiene trabajar para tu!" which translates to "Postville, Iowa has Work for You!

Ro-Ka acres is located on the northeast section of Postville. I am absolutely sure of this. Ron Wahls purchased the farm, with an investment partner, from my parents; and Ron constructed three twelve unit apartment buildings on the property. There is also a church he established and several pre-built homes where the farm buildings once stood. This is where the car fires occurred.

Ron does reside at the above location, in St. Olaf, and perhaps that property is known as Ro-Ka acres as well.

According to page 24 of this report, Wahls constructed $960,000 worth of apts (24 units to be exact) at RO KA in St Olaf for which he received a govt grant of $120,000. At the same time, a Postville company called LEKNUM LLC had an identical project.

Brother Ron Wahls is an overseer in the Garnavillo assembly and a guidance counselor in the public school in Postville. Ron has witnessed the arrival of Latinos into Postville for a decade. Perhaps, after the initial presentation to the city council at the time when the property was purchased, Ron and his wife, Kathy, decided to change the name for some reason. I'm a bit confused. Postville area residents have referred to the property as Ro-Ka.

I was under the impression that Agri was a partner in Ro-Ka.
I also seem to remember that Wahls sold some of his holdings to Nevel in order to finance the building of his church which caters to the Latino population, but that he continued to manage the properties. It was my understanding that his Spanish is quite good.

Maybe they torched the cars so that the owners will be forced to buy used ones from Rubashkin cronies.

I wish Mr. Wahls would be so considerate to pick up the other kids in town, like white households, and see that they get to school and home safely. There are mixed feelings regarding Guidance Counselor/Evangelist Ron Wahls among Postville area residents. Many people feel he crosses the line slightly by allegedly intertwining church and school; and furthermore, exasperate this controversial combination by favoring the Latino population while serving as school counselor.

2)Were the owners current or former employees of Agri?
3)Was there contact with the car owners by the perp(s)?
