Yochanan - I believe you are mistaken as the Haredi rabbis have already stepped in and declared that these people have no claim to Judaism.

Thats amazing!
I hope they dont ruin there forests there too, they will all die!
I looked at the pictures and they looked very frightened!
Maybe they have never seen something like that in the air, and i noticed that they were firing back with there arrows at the thing in the sky
We should just leave them alone.

They don't seem to need any more stakes. Their huts seem to be standing up quite nicely with the ones that they're using.

I also followed a link to the newspaper article you provided and found a most interesting video on these tribes that live in the amazon and they tell there story how they feel and they are witnesses to the deforestation of the rainforests and the raising of the cattle and they state their complaint about the whole entire thing.
and interesting these people are vegiatrians, they eat fish no meat..
a must see!!
