Astute readers point out that one of the haredi rabbinic signatories on the new ban issued against Lipa Schmeltzer and the Madison Square Garden "Big Event" is…
Rabbi Lipa Margulies of Yeshiva Torah Temimah, the enabler of accused rabbi-on-boy child sex abuser Rabbi Yehuda Kolko:
The "Big Event," by the way, is a benefit concert for one of the nicest Orthodox charities in Israel – Simchat Tzion.
What does Simchat Tzion do? Run completely by volunteers, Simchat Tzion makes weddings for orphans.
Please remember what the concert's promoter said on Zev Brenner's radio show Saturday night. He very strongly urged listeners not to make fun of the gedolim who signed this ban.
Of course, the producer is correct. There is no need to make fun of these arrogant fools. They do a fine job of it all by themselves.

to repeat the great line from R yoel kahn
"it isnt daas and it isnt torah"

i hope these rabbis who signed the ban are going to donate all the money that would have been collected for this charity off their own backs. Oh sorry...they don't know anything about giving, it;s all about taking and banning.
As for making fun of these Rabbis. There is nothing to poke fun about. They are utterly disgraceful and should be sent off to a remote Island where the only people they can hurt are themselves.

today flatbush was posted all over with the notices, at what cost.
call the poor yesomim, chatan & kallah who dont have the funding fore their weddings.
they come from ALL segments and groups, chassidic, litvaks, chiloni, etc
and the RAAbonim and "people" are concerned about bain adom lamokom, but let your orphans suffer.
a chumra of sodom.
anyone commenting should first donate a wedding, that gives him reshut to talk.

Sue Lipa for breach of contract, sue the "Rabbis" for tortious interference with a valid contract. Also possible criminal charges of extortion.
