Judge Gives 770 to Agudas Chassidei Chabad
The long-running fight between Congregation Lubavitch (i.e., the huge minyan that prays in the main synagogue in Chabad World Headquarters at 770 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn, NY and the gabbais who represent them) on one hand and Agudas Chassidei Chabad (Aguch; Rabbis Krinsly, Shemtov, Kotlarsky, etc.) has temporarily ended.
According to VosIzNeais, Judge Ira Harkavy today awarded the building and the synagogue to Aguch. The gabbais are expected to appeal.
I am still confused as to which is which.
Who are the messianists and who are not?

There's all messianists. The Agudas Chasidei Chabad just don't emphasize it because they're afraid of weirding people out while the others insist that it should be the first thing you say every morning right after Modeh Ani Lefanecha, Adonenei, Moreinu and Rabeinu, Melech HaMoshiach Chai V'kayam...
How much you want to bet the first time Krinsky tries to execute the court order the nutbats riot and police have to be called?

I talked briefly with an educational director for a prominent Lubavitch institution (he was soliticiting contributions) and brought up the issue of the Messianist-Elohist ritual/takeover of the 770 synagogue. His tone and stated opinion that the synagogue more or less was a bunch of bums from Israel cautions me against accepting as dogma that the proto-Messianic vibe is qualitiatively the same between the vocal messianic agitators and Krinsky Inc.
