He Stole Their Money and Their Homes – and then he went to daven
A haredi developer tells the city he is building a dormitory for teachers from a nearby haredi seminary. At the same time, he files papers with the state to build condominiums at the exact same location.
The city allows several zoning codes to be waived so the "dorm" can be built. The developer builds the building, cuts even more corners, and sells the completed "dorm apartments" as condos to non-haredim.
The non-haredim, mostly non-Jews, move in, then are told by the city that the building is in serious violation. It is unsafe. Their condos cannot be sold or transferred. They may be forced to move out. Their half-million dollar investments have turned to dust. The developer is called by a city official a "very bad man."
Who is this developer. A Satmar hasid, Mendel Brach.

Big Chilul HaShem ! Later we wonder why some don't like us... It's Mnuvalim & money hungry Ganifs like these, who cause hate. Shame on you, Arurim Ti'hyou.

What did he do wrong? They're just silly goyim! Can't you see? He wears BOTH Rabbeinu Tam and Rashi tefillin. He's a total tzaddik.

I hope this creep is convicted of fraud and is placed in a cell for the next ten years with a convict that has a sexual obsession for long peyos.

Just another example proving that people like "Meishiv K'halacha" - who in a recent Haemtza post said "Jews are better than ALL goyim, and we should be proud of that fact" - are ignorant racists.

I wonder did the co-op buyers do the right thing by going public with their complints?
I think they should have asked Rabbi Kamentzky

Maybe he was one of the guys who bought the outrageous seder ensemble for the other Satmar Rov.

His beard should be shaved and his peyos cut off!

Freeze this scumbags business and personal assests
Put a lien on his home Seize his possesions.
Check for bank accounts in caymans and other favorite stash countrys.
If anyone in else Satmar has even the slightest of dealings with this fellow, freeze their assests as well until things get sorted out.
Put this guy in prison on the same block as the Aryan Brotherhood and Nation of Islam.

I would appreciate people not professing my beliefs based on an out of context quote. Thanks.

Meishiv is concerned that his beliefs are being taken out of context. So here is the full quote (plus another choice one) and folks can decide for themselves how he holds:

So where's our state Attorney General Andy Cuomo? Oops I forgot his dad was already bought by the Satmer at the time of the Kiryat Joel school district deal.
And the building of spec appartments under the guise of student housing is happening all around the Monsey area (not just the Chofetz Chaim swindle).

It seems obvious that the homeowners were defrauded. The question is, does Mendel Brach take secular laws seriously?

PUBLIC BEWARE

We hereby wish to alert the public that the above huckster Eliyahu Ezagi, who disguises himself as a shliach of the Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach, has ripped-off many Jews, in scams and real estate swindles. He has been found guilty both by the NY Supreme Court Civil Division and NY Beis Din of such acts but has failed to do teshuva and continues to act in his swindles. This crook took money from over a dozen individuals, including widows and orphans for apartments units. He has been found guilty of causing the corporation he formed for developing the properties, to transfer the deeds to those units, to himself and family members, who then mortgaged to different banks and passed the proceeds of such mortgages to the swindler Eliyahu Ezagi, who then ran to Florida. Several judgments have been awarded against this fraudster, including one in favor of Tova Eilenberg, a Brooklyn widow and mother who is now being evicted while this FRAUDSTER AND SWINDLER lives in luxury at 2 merged homes on 20775 and
20765 NE 30th Place, Aventura Lakes. In case number 017038/2001 in Part 43 of the Supreme Court of the State of New York it was ruled that Ezagui tried to swindle Vladimir Sudit of $3,300,000 and order him to paid the full amount plus interest. He masquerades himself as a Lubavitch Chasid but from time to time has been observed in locals of ill repute and luring Ishei Mishpach exposing them to all sorts of filth. Due to community protest and exposure, he was forced to move out of Crown Heights. Prominent rabbonim have clearly stated that he should be exposed based on “lifnei iver lo sitten michshol (before the blind do not place a stumbling block)”. Local Rabbis are also reminded of Mishna in Bava Kamma (113) says you cannot accept charity from stolen goods - you can not have any hanna'h from gezeilah (see S"A hRav, Hil Gezeila, seifim 11-13).
There is a Midrash (Midrash Hagadol, Leviticus 19:14) that states that individuals who "strengthen the hand of sinners" or assist others to commit a misdeed have transgressed the prohibition against "placing a stumbling block before the blind." One might argue that remaining quiet in the face of evil, i.e., not blowing the whistle on iniquities strengthens the hand of wrongdoers.
The Supreme Court of the State of New York has found that Eliyahu Ezagui also operates under his wife Reina Ezagui (Baruch), his mother Freha (Fruma/Frena), father Joseph Ezagui and a phantom of his imagination “Avi Cohen” names in his fraudulent activiies.

What a terrible shame. There's enough money in this world for everyone to live a comfortable and safe life. Why do people have such madness absorb their minds where they have to steal from others? G-d help this world.

It's a shame that this information is posted without careful review of the facts. Eliyahu Ezagui did not swindle anyone. He also was not found guilty of anything yet.
