BREAKING! Gil Student's Chabad Website Hacked!

Rabbi Gil Student's website on the Rebbe and Chabad, http://www.moshiachtalk.com/ has been hacked!

Put the url in your browser window and you will be routed to http://www.yahoo.co.ja/ the Yahoo Japan homepage. (Many thanks to the [hostile] reader who alerted me to this.)

Although Gil's website was a series of proofs on why the Rebbe could no longer be the messiah, the site was very respectful of both Chabad and the Rebbe. The e-mail address attached to that site was hacked at the same time FailedMessiah.com was hacked. Gil did not want to go to the FBI then. He just couldn't bring himself to do it. I suspect that this time he will not be so naive.

He went out of his way to be respectful to them and that's his reward ?

That does not reflect well on them. People will take note.

After reading through Gil's article with an open mind, I can truthfully say two things:
1. Gil is seriously mistaken. Many of the sources which he brought were taken out of context.
2. Gil was NOT respectful towards a large percentage of Chabad followers. He should have stated his opinion, however wrong, with respect. He should not have said over and over that these people are sinners, idolitors and must repent.
