Kosher Poultry Processing Pictures

Rabbi Dovid Bendory has posted photographs of kosher poultry processing in Israel. (No actual shechita is shown.)

A glossary follows after the jump:

Shochet / Shochtim = slaughterer(s)
Sagan Shochet = shochet's helper
Mashgiach / Mashgichim = kosher supervisor(s)
Dom B'ain = visible / surface blood
Hadacha = rinsing
Hadacha Rishona = first rinsing / soaking
Melicha = salting
Nefitza = shaking / brushing off
Hadacha Achrona = final washing
