"The Attack On PETA"
Readers have noted an "attack" (to borrow a word from Nathan Lewin) on PETA organized by the Center For Consumer Freedom.
Perhaps most disturbing is this brief audio excerpt of PETA's Bruce Friedrich condoning vandalism against medical research labs, slaughterhouses and fast food restaurants.
I e-mailed Mr. Friedrich and asked him the following questions:
1. Does this still represent your opinion?
2. Were you an employee of PETA when you made those remarks?
3. Do those remarks reflect PETA's position?
4. Has PETA ever come out against violence and vandalism against slaughterhouses?
5. Has PETA ever come out against violence and vandalism against medical research labs?
6. Has PETA ever come out against violence and vandalism against fast food restaurants?
7. When and where were these remarks made?
Mr. Friedrich answered as follows:
- "No. That was more than three years ago and I was a bit shaken up by a truly shocking video documenting a tragic situation for egg laying hens (probably the most intensively farmed and horribly abused of all farmed animals):"
Link #1 Link #2 - "Yes."
- "No."
- "It's not really our place to come out for or against such things; we operate in exclusively legal means, focusing on public education, and we encourage others to do the same. We focus 100% of our efforts on promoting compassion for animals, and we do not criticize other animal rights groups. We offer about a million and one things for people to do, all completely legal."

- [Please see #4.]
- "An animal rights conference in D.C., July 2001."
Mr. Friedrich pointed out that these remarks were made almost 3 1/2 years ago. He also directed me to this website dedicated to combatting the Center For Consumer Freedom. Not surprisingly, the Center's director, Rick Berman is a well-known food, beverage and tobbacco industry lobbyist.
I must add that, I found Mr. Friedrich's answers to the questions satisfactory except for his contention that, "It's not really [PETA's] place to come out for or against" vandalism by animal rights activists and that PETA "do[es] not criticize other animal rights groups."
I would think that, now more than ever PETA needs to take a firm stand against this type of violence. It would be a shame if the much-needed reforms and obtainable goals PETA seeks to achieve would be lost because of a reluctance to condemn violence that is both illegal and unproductive.
If you do not condemn then you accept. PETA accepts that it is legitimate to engage in the acts of vandalism (so-called eco-terrorism).
To say that it is legitimate to vandalize centers that prevent harm to humans through conducting tests of products on animals is disturbing and shows a serious values issue. It is not merely illegal or unproductive but immoral.

PETA and Bruce have shot themselves in the foot. 3 and 1/2 years ago and he still can't answer a question straight forward about violence. It's easy "we don't encourage violence" ... I guess again he's shocked, but at least this time he can control his temper. Did you notice though how calmly he encouraged violence? These people are sick...
What about the rest of PETAs record?

You need to investigate other things as well like the camera that was used.
For instance perhaps it was a German camera certainly one COULD find a link between hitler and the camera. But it was probably Japanese. Maybe they made use of some expired patent of the Germans. Yes sir that was a nazi camera! Maybe the PETA guy wore Chinese shoes- make the connection between shoes and the Chinese Gulags
YOU DUMB STUPID FOOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If the scene was crafted by PETA that would be one thing but here we have shocets and mashgiahs and rabbi messing up big time and all you can do is to try to shift the blame and say PETA has done some crazy stuff. Yeah sure PETA done some crazy stuff. I don't give a ding dong what kind of an 'armband' the camera guy is wearing

PETA members are not bad per se. It's just the top-level PETA members who give the rest a bad name. Most of the top-level PETA people (including the organization heads and top-level celebrity members) are all tied in to Zionism.
CSPI has a historical track record of conspiring with the food industry in poisoning people with aspartame and trans fats, then CSPI becomes the "food police" and says "anything that is bad for you should be illegal", when they're the very ones who put you on the crap! CSPI is just like the drug kingpins who put you on heroin and crack and then rat you out to the police (who are bought off by the drug kingpins) who then arrest you for buying the very drugs that fund their gestapo tactics! "Food police" my ass! CSPI AND BIG FOOD ARE IN CAHOOTS!
And then CSPI "conveniently" sets up some controlled opposition in the 1990s called the Guest Choice Network (now known as the Center for Consumer Freedom) to give you the impression that you have free choice. Guess what? YOU DON'T! CSPI and CCF are BOTH WORKING TOGETHER!
It's called "problem-reaction-solution"! CSPI and CCF conspire to sicken the people with toxic foods and drugs, CSPI reveals the health risks of the toxins that the people are consuming, and then CSPI poses as the "saviors" and presents their pre-packaged "solution" which is TOTAL, BLANKET TYRANNY! (Codex Alimentarius and Healthy People 2010 are both part of this agenda.)
And who runs CSPI and CCF? ZIONISTS! Michael F. Jacobson: ZIONIST. Rick Berman: ZIONIST. And who funds CSPI and CCF? Known members of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).
The American health crisis is a Zionist/CFR conspiracy! And what's the Zionist/CFR pre-packaged "solution"? MANDATORY insurance coverage and MANDATORY healthcare (including MANDATORY annual check-ups). The pre-packaged solution is TOTAL, BLANKET TYRANNY!
